In order to have a more external focus this holiday season, we decided to have this family activity:
I made these two pages in my scrapbook software, but I'm sure you could find comparable graphics online (try www.clickr.com). Feel free to use these if you can get them to print off with good quality.
So everyone gets a page with their name on it, and then we take turns going around the table saying what we love about {big brother} and then we write on one of the ornaments that characteristic and they each get to fill up their Christmas tree with all of the things we love about them. Good self-esteem boost as well!:) Here's the finished product:
I think they turned out cute and felt really good about the activity overall!:)
