Okay, so this post doesn't really have anything to do with Halloween, but in our family, it is an October tradition. Every fall (typically the first weekend in October) the leaders of our Church gather in Salt Lake City to address the entire world in an event called General Conference. Here we learn what the Lord would have us do to improve our lives and the lives of those around us. To listen/watch for yourself, click here.
Anyways. Since General Conference consists of four 2-hour sessions that we watch online, it is a little tricky to get the circus to calm down enough to hear it, let alone get something out of it. But we try. And each time it gets a little easier. And this year I stumbled upon the website www.livecrafteat.com and she has compiled an amazing collection of helps for kiddos during these sessions.
